Vehicle Detail
1955 Chevy Belair 2 door sedan. We have owned this car for 12 years and have had lots of trouble free fun with it. It runs and drives great, it is a very sharp looking vehicle that draws a lot of attention. There are a few imperfections, chips & bubbles in the paint from the elements of driving. Over the time that we have owned it, we have done a lot of upgrades including: Laminated tinted side glass, new windshield, all new dash trim, shoulder harness seat belts great for safety and for kids car seats, power brakes with front disc, front drop spindles and springs, rear 3" lowering blocks, Billet Specialties hustler 17" rims with Michelin Pilot Sport tires, this car has an incredible stance which sets it apart from most others, power steering with 605 box, new Holly carburetor, new radiator, completely re-wired the vehicle for dependability, rebuilt rear-end, the radio is Custom Autosound AM/FM cassette made to fit the original dash (no hacking). Car was rebuilt in 1992 with interior which is still in good shape (see pictures). Engine is a 327 which was rebuilt in 1992 and runs very strong and is approximately 330 horsepower. Transmission is a turbo 350, rebuilt in 1992 with a shift kit and drives good. The paint and body where professionally re-done in 1992 by Dave Mathison Street Rods and Customs and still look sharp today. We have had lots of fun with this vehicle of the many years that we have owned it, but it is time to let someone else enjoy it. On Nov-20-13 at 05:18:36 PST, seller added the following information: As I was looking at the car, I remembered that there were some other upgrades I have done to the car. when I converted the car to power steering, I installed a new Ididit chrome tilt steering column. I have also rebuilt the complete front end using offset upper cross arm shafts. Because we live in the great state of Washington, I also added a Raingear wiper arm conversion kit with delay to eliminate the sloppy cable design, and they work great. Thanks for your interest.
