This 1972 Honda CB500 four was recently pulled out of storage. It hasn't been driven in a couple of years. Vin # is CB500 1026197. The eng # is CB500E-1026254. MFG date is 7/71. It's titled as a 1971. Miles show 20729. The old CB500 is in original, unrestored and unmolested condition. I flushed out the gas tank and charged the battery and it started. It ran poorly and gas came out the carb overflows. The carbs will need to be gone through and cleaned before riding. It turns over real nice. Overall condition of the bike is real good. The seat is in great condition. The tires are good with lots of tread. Rims are good with some surface rust in places. Exhaust is ok with the exception of the top right side pipe. It does have some rust holes. The others look ok. The gas tank looks clean inside and the out side has normal scratches and nicks. Paint is faded in places. Right side cover has a crack and 1 tab was broken off and glued on. Front fender has a small dent which looks like it was pounded out. There is a tool set and owners manual. I have a signed title. This is a cool little bike that would make a great winter project and have a classic ride in the spring. Selling AS IS with no guarantees. Ask questions before bidding and answer I'll the best I can.
