Original California car. In good condition with no rust !!!!!!!! It was driven until 2011 and retains it's original black plates. You do not see these anymore. This wagon was owned from day one by Millionaire construction magnet Roger Snow of Bakersfield California. There is a street named after Mr. Snow and he built a lot of Bakersfield. The wagon is all stock with it's original color blue and it's original V 8 motor which I believe was the 2nd largest available in 1959. Now for what it needs: The clamp for reverse broke, without this clamp it does not allow it to go into reverse. I understand this was a common problem for this model. Reverse is still good in the tranny, but it needs the clamp to engage reverse, and so this clamp will have to be replaced. It also has an exhaust leak that need to be fixed. The car runs and drives.... the carb was rebuilt and the brakes were all gone though including a new master cylinder and currently work great. With a new transmission clamp for reverse, a tune up, the exhaust leaks fixed and new tires, this will be a great everyday driver !!!!!!!!!!!! Please ask questions before bidding. The interior was originally a buff color in 1959 and not black. The 332 V8 engine should be painted all black, without the Ford blue color on the engine on the valve covers and air cleaner.
