Up for sale is a 1971 Triumph Boniville T120R.... the R distinction for US import only. The VIN for this bike is T120RHE30007.....I'm not an expert on Triumph Bonneville VIN decoding, but I will say that this bike could either be the 30,007th bike produced for the US this year or only the 7th unit produced for US export. The frame and engine have matching numbers. The Title is clear and open. There is no key. This bike is being sold as a project bike, although this bike is complete which I cannot say for most "project bikes". The tactometer seems to be a proper Smiths gage.... the speedometer looks like a new reproduction so I don't know what the actual milage is.... I will say the reproduction does match the vintage gage nicely though. We were able to get the bike to fire and run but it appears that the bike will need new points/condensers as it has a charging issue. The paint has cracking, peeling, scratches ect. The tank has no scratches, the badges are in good shape, the gas cap is new, and the inside of the tank is VERY CLEAN. The tires have slow leaks and will need new tubes. The SEAT IS NEW, its not properly installed (just sitting on the bike for mock up purposes) but I paid a mint for it. The engine and rims will clean up nicely. Some parts are included with the sale of the bike (all pictured) including a rubber set for the foot pegs, levers, and grips, a new battery, chrome seat trim, three new cables and one used, the original throttle, two bulbs, and two foot pegs. This bike would make a very nice project bike for somebody this winter or could easily be tuned up and used as a really cool daily driver.
