Vehicle Detail

For sell is a great motorcycle. It is a low mileage (11,142 miles) BMW 2001 R1200C Phoenix. It is yellow and black. The motorcycle comes with BMW saddlebags, engine guards, heated grips, ABS, self cancelling turn signals, fuel injection, extra driving lights, a fly windshield, and a bunch of chrome and tender care. I'm the second owner of this bike. Maintenance, care, and polishing are done regularly. My wife has a Stiletto, and we love riding these bikes up in the North Georgia Mountains, on the Interstate, or "don't know where we are" country two lanes. The motor always cranks and runs great. Amsoil synthetic 20W-50 oil resides in its innards. The battery was new in 2009. The tires have about 2,500 miles left on them. The paint is excellent, the chrome very good. This model has the wider and flatter handlebar. It makes for easier, precision, steering and handling. The seat was sent to Sargent in Jacksonville, FL to get supplement gel padding and a new Carbon type cover. It feels and looks great. Also, on this model, the rear pillion is also the rider's backrest. Flip it up or down depending on the situation. HERE ARE SOME THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS BIKE CAN'T DO: 1) Turn 1:30 times at Willow Springs Race Track 2) Do 150 mph laying down on the tank at Bonneville Salt Flats 3) Do the quarter mile in 9.5 (even with Jay Gleason on it) 4) Compete for the Paris-Dakar title (no way would I get it in the mud) HERE'S WHAT IT CAN DO: 1) Be a dependable and reliable ride 2) Astonish people that you're 12 years old 3) Gleam and shout "Hey, see what you're missing on that K1600GT" 4) Tour on the Interstate, two lane roads, city streets, do Iron Mtn Road, do the Dragon, etc. In all seriousness, this bike does everything well. It is comfortable, reliable, lightweight, easy to maneuver (low seat height), no crotch rocket physical gyrations, and beautiful to ride and look at. I'm getting rid of some of my motorcycles, and I almost hope no one buys it. It's always done everything I've asked of it. If you had plenty of time to ride all over the USA, this would be the bike. It has a big gas tank and gets great mileage. It will go slow (40 mph in top gear) and not groan, it will go fast, it likes all roads (the suspension is great), easy to park, will carry a lot of gear (saddlebags and luggage rack), and it will get you back home. Look at the pictures. It's great. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY! Can assist with shipping, if needed. THANKS FOR LOOKING!
