Bike is in excellent condition with minor scratches from October 12. My BP dropped and I laid the bike down on the opposite side of the road onto a grassy hill - going uphill at low speed. Mathias BMW in New Philadelphia Ohio checked out the bike and no structural or mechanical damage. Comes with newer tires - Michelin Pilot Road 3 - excellent in rain. BMW Factory cover, tour bags (3) and charger. Girlfriend wants me to sell to protect myself. I purchased the bike from insurance company with intentions to keep it a long time, now I need to sell. My loss is your gain - get a low mileage R1100RT for cheap here - sweet bike and you probably won't find one as well maintained with these low miles. The bike comes with factory BMW Black saddle bags (side cases) which have the BMW logo and red reflectors. These bags open, close and lock into place with the ignition key. There are two handles on the case, both open the case while one keeps the case closed while the other can be used as a handle for the closed case. They are in good shape with some minor scratches, just not in the photos as is the center hardbag. *Two keys come with the bike.On Nov-17-13 at 13:44:37 PST, seller added the following information: To answer several questions... 1) Bike has ABS (Antilock Brakes) which work great - Rear brake pads were replace back in 2007 when the bike had around 11,500 miles. 2) Bike has heated grips which work great and have two settings (high-up and low-down) - really help out when it's chilly out and in the early morning. 3) 6 top pics are bike before accident, 4 bottom pics are bike after accident. 4) Bike comes with 2 keys. 5) Actualy cash value of the repairs exceeded the value of the bike according to Geico; BMW factory wanted $1000 for each $340 for each mirror in addition to $1000 for the exhaust. 6) No repairs have been performed. Mirror scratches are noticeable but not that bad and other scratches such as lower fairings, exhaust and front fender are hardly noticeable when you are standing and looking at the bike. If you have any other questions or concerns please advise.
