Vehicle Detail
1974 SWB /5 R75 frame assembly with an R80 upgraded motor and many custom features. Bike was created from the bare frame up. Frame assembly powder coated and braced. Swing-arm braced as well as frame. R80 motor was dual-plugged with R100 heads. Motor was low mileage but was gone through and refreshed with rings and seals. Mikuni carbs used along with K&N mini-filters. Electronic ignition, LED turn signal assemblies. Front fender and custom starter cover are fiberglass. Tank is a /6 tank reconditioned. Front end was rebuilt with progressive springs, new seals, and other parts. Dual disc front end from an R80rt along with large master cylinder under the tank. Rear-end and drive shaft both in excellent condition and splines have minimal to no wear at all. Snowflake wheels from an R100 painted blackand pinstriped by hand. Custom bobbed HD rear fender with tailight assembly (LED) from a pre-unit Triumph. Current exhaust is a MAC 2-into-1 setup that breathes nicely. Early pics below show the Dunstal replicas that were installed previously. Will give the buyer the option of which exhaust system they would prefer. Dunstalls are nicely loud and similar to early Triumphs where the MAC is not as loud with its own unique sound. Seat is custom made on a stock BMW SWB pan. Comfortable on normal riding. Bars are stock BWM euro-bars along with the Napolean bar-end mirrors. The 2700 mileage figure is not the number on the odometer but the approximate miles since the rebuild. Gauge cluster came from an R80rt and reflects the mileage of that bike, not this one. Bike has nearly new tires, new battery, fresh fluids throughout, and ready to have fun. Bike is really quick and handles great with the SWB frame. The dual discs in front come in very handy for bringing the bike to a stop. Gladly answer any and all questions regarding the bike. Bike is titled as a 74 BMW R75 with vintage title. No warranty, expressed or implied. Bike is sold as is at the current location. Any shipment will be at the buyer's expense and they must handle the setup of such shipment. $500 deposit through Paypal with the remainder due in form of cash or a bank draft. Will consider whole amount through Paypal but will require the buyer to handle the additional 3% fee.
