Vehicle Detail

*NO RESERVE* 1973 BMW R75/5 750cc four speed airhead (short wheel base). Two owner, matching numbers bike with 59,000 miles. Comes with a clear Nevada title from 1984. Bike looks and runs good. Has a new battery and fires up easily with electric or kick starter. Engine does not smoke and clutch and transmission work smoothly. No leaks of any kind. Bike has always been serviced regularly and garaged. It was repainted black sometime in the 1980's and shows it's age. Originally the bike was a copper metallic color. There is a crack in the paint on the top of the gas tank and it has nicks and scratches here and there. The fenders have nicks and scratches as well. The inside of the gas tank is very clean. Gas tank is the large touring style. Emblems have some chips but the knee pads are nice. There are cosmetic flaws as can be expected of a bike this age, but it looks nice overall and still shines. This is a Nevada bike so it doesn't have any rust and the chrome is nice. The exhaust has dents and scratches and battery acid stains. "Pie Tin" wheel covers have some dings in them as well. The engine has an aftermarket finned aluminum deep sump oil pan and an upgraded electronic ignition system. Seat is nice but not perfect, it has some cat paw marks in it... (see photos) It also has a rare "Reynolds" passenger seat rail backrest. Bike still has the original tire pump and glove box under the seat. Seat latch / lock however is missing. Tires are about 10 years old and should probably be replaced. Everything works on the bike as it should: lights, horn, gauges, etc. The key for the fork lock and locking gas cap are missing. Bike was originally sold at "Al's Cycle Shop" here in Las Vegas and comes with the original owners manual. Please email me at kruzin62@aol.com with any questions.
