1984 BMW 533i I purchased the vehicle from my son this past spring and he had spent a bunch of money making repairs. (I was involved in a sever car accident this past winter and destroyed my company car) The vehicle is in great shape. Excellent exterior, interior and mechanical. Have what I believe is all of the history of paperwork. Original window sticker also. Recent repairs / modifications: 1) New control arms and bushings 2) New main fuel pump 3) Repaired brake fluid leaks 4) Repaired and replaced power steering banjo bolt and coupler 5) New Temp Sensor Switch 6) New Brake pressure switches (Original had leaks) 7) Replaced Speedometer (Previous owner had put a 528e Instrument cluster in. This was causing problems with the computer) 8) New floor mats. (Carpet is in great condition) 9) LED Halo headlights 10) E39 10 spoke wheels 11) New tires this past year (Also have a set of winter tires) 12) Slotted and drilled front rotors and pads 13) New CAT / Back 2.5" Billy Boat Performance stainless steel exhaust. ($900) 14) Tune up. (New plugs, wires, rotor and cap, air filter, fuel filter) 15) Kicker Rear Speakers 16) New crankshaft position sensor and magnet. 17) Tinted Windows 18) Replaced the Rear (RH & LH) widow lift motors. 19) Replaced two power window switches. 20) Cleaned and applied dielectric to all of the rear bulbs and sockets 21) New front hood foam pads and seals Known issues: 1) Broken auto antenna (I replaced the old one and decided to go through the car wash with the radio on. $50) 2) I have purchased a rebuilt AC Compressor. Plan on installing it. 3) LH Rear Tail light gasket (I think) has a small leak. 4) Windshield delay function only works smoothly after the normal speeds have been used for a few minutes. (I believe the motor brushes need to be cleaned) 5) The previous owner apparently was in an accident on the RH side of the vehicle. The paint is new and matches the original. But the RH Front door needs an extra effort to fully seat. 6) Small dents on the LH Front Fender and LH Rear Qtr Panel I love the vehicle and use it as a daily driver. It has fantastic power and torque. I believe this was an early build with the 14# flywheel so the acceleration is strong and the new exhaust seems to allow improved breathing, thus power. I tears me up to sell it, but my job requires a great deal of driving and I would prefer not to risk a breakdown on the road or with a customer with me.
