If you are looking for a great little, economical vehicle to tow behind your RV, look no further. Our is all set up ready to tow complete with a Blue Ox tow bar and brake buddy system. Just hook up, turn the key to unlock the steering and off you go. No need to pull fuses, flick switches or stop to let the oil cool down - real easy. The car is a 06 PT Cruiser convertible with just 54000 miles on the clock. We get great gas mileage and the car is just so much fun to drive with the top down. We are returning to Europe so the car and the RV have to go so we have set a realistic reserve. If you own an RV you will probably know just how much it costs to to get the a car ready to tow. Everything has been done here, hook up, plug in and you are ready to roll. The bodywork has a few marks and blemishes but is in pretty good overall condition. We also installed a rear tow hitch that we used for a bike rack. Just ask any questions you need. I have set the reserve at the price I have been offered by a dealer so it must be a good deal! Please note that the vehicle is in Florida 34714 and can be inspected there. I can take more photos when I arrive in Florida from Europe on the 16th November. We have to leave again on the 24th so the deal will have to be done and dusted by then. On Nov-11-13 at 13:10:24 PST, seller added the following information: I have received quite a few questions about the car and so have added this extra info: We had no plans to sell the car but a health issue means we have to be close to home so we have to sell up everything in Florida and return to the UK. The car is stored for six months of the year and we use it when we come to Florida in the fall. We arrive in Florida on the 15th and will return to the UK on the 24th so everything has to be wrapped up by then. Condition: I would say good condition for the year. There is only the 2 of us that use it for those months and we dont go far. But to be super critical I would point out the following defects .Exterior: Small dent in drivers door caused by stone thrown up by grass cutter. Hasn't broken the paint. Side window rubbers showing signs of sun damage (common in Florida) but doesn't effect their function. Various small stone chips to front.Interior. Generally good condition. Also I forgot to mention that we had new tires fitted all round less than 300 miles ago. Towing equipment.The brake buddy supplementary brake system comes complete with a breakaway switch and supplementary 12v supply which are not currently fitted to the car. Also included is the wireless monitor system which plugs into your RV dash and tells you when the brake buddy is working. Total cost for that system was 1200+ dollars but we were legal in all states in the US. We chose the Blue Ox towing system as it was the easiest to connect and the least conspicuous when not in use. The baseplate cost over 500 dollars fitted. The tow bar has adjustable arms for easy connection, self adjusts when taking up the load and comes complete with the plastic cover, safety cables and stow bag. Over 600 dollars for that lot. The car is wired for towing with a removable connecting cable that connects the car to the RV. The diode system ensures that there is no cross connection with the vehicle battery and the tail lamps, brake lights and turn signals work from the RV battery. Also fitted is a rear tow hitch with small receiver which we used for a bike rack (available if required). There is also a 4 wire plug to allow a small trailer to be towed if required. Apologies for lack of photos but we really had no intention of selling so I have not got the photos you would expect. I have a clear Montana title in my possession.
