Here for sale is a 1983 stepside short bed truck.Black in color.Lifted 4 inches. 4speed with on the fly 4wheel drive ( no hubs to lock ) You can see from the pictures it has some rust and rot as nature has taken it's toll on so many of our older vehicles. It has a strong running 350 engine and is fun to drive. Over the years I have replaced or had replaced these parts, heatercore,radiator,waterpump,recent gas tank and clutch, rear brake wheel cylinders and lines, rearend work (expensive ). Looking at the engine picture it shows the new valve cover the other one is still in the box because of my back problem is acting up again so the new owner will have to install it. The the truck was sitting in my driveway since last year because of a stupid aluminium valve cover that started to leak and since it does have a 4 barrel carb with a edlebrock manifold and between gas getting expense and my bad back I was in no hurry to put it back on the road. It has alot of good points,nice truck style, fun to drive,nice aluminium mag wheels with 33x12.50R15LT tires. Has some spare wheels in the pictures to go with the truck(mags could use some polish) It has a velour bench seat ( some fading) with foldown console and a new headliner.A new battery.New old stock stepbars for the sides,new steps for the bed.Please consider this is an older truck and if you are looking for something to jump in and go this may not be for you. I have never sold a truck before and not an expert so please bear with me and ask any questions. Truck is sold as is and where is, the winning bidder will be responsible for shipping or pickup. The truck is no longer registered and only been moved back and forth in my driveway to keep everthing lubricated.I would rather the truck be flatbeded or towed on pickup because it hasn't seen the road for awhile. Some querks it does have are the backup lights and horn don't work,the dash has cracks.I think the buyer will be very happy with this truck. A little work and this could be a beautiful truck.Anyway take a good look at the pictures and good luck bidding. No international bidding please.
