Vehicle Detail
This 1965 Pontiac LeMans GTO tribute convertible runs and looks great. Super nice paint and gets compliments every time she's out and about. This was an off frame restoration, and I got it in a real estate transaction. I don't drive it as much as I'd like, and only put less than 200 miles on it since I've had it, so she needs a new home. Only has about 500 miles since restoration. Almost everything on it is new; will try to list some here, but the list is long. Will also list what may need fixing as well.New: Wheels & tires, 4 wheel disc brakes (no E brake)-stops on a dime, bumpers, tail lights & bezels, interior seats & carpet, door panels, modern gauge cluster (over $1000 worth), dashpad, emblems, convertible top (& weatherstripping) with new hydraulic motor, windshield, paint (completely stripped before re-paint), rocker mouldings, radiator, master cylinder with power booster, starter & alternator, Tri-Power carbs (all have been gone through), tubular A arms in front, turbo 400 transmission, front shocks and rear air shocks. I'm sure I'm missing some things, but everything works great and looks beautiful.Things that may need attention, like with any older car: The horn doesn't work, they didn't install one, looks like. Due to about a 4" scratch by a bike on the rear left quarter panel, they touched it up but in certain light you can see a slight difference in paint in that spot. Transmission drips a little from the pan gasket. On & off, it drips a few drops of oil. Whoever installed the interior did not do the cutouts for ashtrays in the back armrests, so no ashtrays. All in all, it's in super shape, and a "real" GTO in this condition would probably go for $40-50K. Nothing like driving a beautiful car with the top down. I reserve the right to end the auction early. Continental US only. Shipping the responsibility of buyer. Non-refundable deposit to be paid via PayPal upon winning the auction. On Nov-04-13 at 18:18:41 PST, seller added the following information: Please be advised: I've had to cancel a couple high bidders because they had no history of an account with ebay or paypal. Please contact me if you have no history with ebay before bidding. Thank-you.
