Gorgeous 1965 Peugeot 404 Saloon survivor.  One owner with 34,615 original miles.  Not driven since 1970.  Stored in heated garage since new.  No rust ever.  100% original paint.  Interior is spectacular.   Amazing time capsule!  Purchased new by a now 83 year-old gentleman who was never married and who meticulously cared for his possessions.  This 404 was purchased new at Motor-Sport in Jenkintown Pennsylvania (see sticker).  Always heated garage stored, this Peugeot was only on the road for 5 years accumulating a mere 34,615 miles.  When we purchased the car, the front seats still had the factory installed new car clear seat protectors on the seats!  The charcoal carpeting was fully covered and shows no wear.  Imperial Green exterior (paint code 1077) with beautiful two-tone marble cream and butterscotch seats and door panels with an Ivory dash and steering wheel.   Interior is stunning: no tears or wear marks on seats (not even the piping), carpeting or door panels.  Dash is excellent, steering wheel is mint.  100% original paint – no body repairs or repaint ever.  No rust ever.  4 speed manual column shifter.  Chrome and stainless bright-work are very nice.  There are two minor dings on the roof (at the rear roof rack brackets) and one minor dent on the engine hood from long-term storage.  A paintless dent repair shop should be able to handle these dings & dent.   There are also some scratches in the paint from storage.  Last Pennsylvania state inspection was in 1970 and it has the original matching 1970 Pennsylvania license plate.  Original factory tool kit – Peugeot pliers and wood handle screw driver have never been used.  The engine turns freely by hand but has not been run or driven since 1970.  Brake hydraulics will require rebuilding as is normal after long-term storage (vehicle is non-running / non-stopping).  Original 1965 Pennsylvania “A” title.  Don’t’ miss this opportunity to own a true survivor.   VIN: 5150947 Steel sliding sunroof & AM Radio Original factory Peugeot tools in original card board box!
