Up for auction is a 1976 Honda Cb550k super sport Custom Café racer *******Frame is painted black now, most pictures are in primer when it was not finished ****** I hate to sell this bike but its time to go, I have owned this for two years and I haven't had any mechanical issues with it whatsoever always starts right up, usually takes a little bit of choke on colder days or if it has been sitting for awhile every time I rode it I set the idle screw until around 1.5 rpm idle, I've gone on long rides around 130 miles in a day most of the parts that have been on the bike have been on it for two riding season now. New tires Dunlop k70s, shocks, chain, battery, jets, head gasket, exhaust, muffler, clip-ons, throttle housing, rear license plate holder and model A rear tail light, brake solenoid velocity stacks, bar ends, café seat pan, led blinkers There's much more that I'm forgetting The rear half of the frame has been modified with tubular steel with to make the rear tire of the bike look stretched , it does have a stock swing arm shock angle matches the frame angle single mount tach , no speedo. aftermarket speedos are for sale that plug into the sender by the wheel if you want one The Crank case by the chain has been drilled and tapped, aswell as the rear brake shield and, rear brake bar stock rims painted black, front forks rebuilt, only running a tach with a single mount bracket that is fully functional stock foot controls , electric start, the kick start has been taken off due to the location of the exhaust, all of the electronics have been mounted under the seat bubble and the battery has been moved down by the swing arm in a custom battery tray. Everything works as it should blinker, brake light, headlight hi/low beam. it does not have a Horn* Miles are unknown the title has 15,300 on it flake burnt orange paint , not show quality but decent, seat is a foam non skid pad I am 6'3 and I ride this bike as much as I can , this thing gets a lot of attention where ever I go. It is geared low for the back roads, I would suggest putting a smaller sprocket on if you plan on going highway. awesome bike very fun to ride, can swing it down low in the corners. Unknown mileage, but it starts up every time, like I said this is a reliable bike. it stops good.
