Vehicle Detail

Greetings! Fantastic 1966 Plymouth Belvedere II vintage original unmolested car. Not really a "project car", more of a survivor. Truly driver quality. Drives straight as an arrow and does not pull when braking. Would drive it anywhere. No leaks, does not overheat or burn oil. Headlights, turn indicators, brake and reverse lights working. Odometer reads 62,XXX Belverdere was the base model, with the II getting upgraded trim and options, all the way up to the Satellite. All matching numbers, original SoCal black plate Air Conditioning car. Car is 95% complete, just shy of her original showroom quality. Interior is perfect: No cracks on dash New cream perforated leather on seats New carpet New headliner All doors shut solid and windows work All door handles, window cranks, panels and armrests intact and in great functioning condition Dome light even works! Trim is 99% all original and complete. Only missing Crysler Pentastar (10 bucks on eBay) lower front of passenger door and Plymouth emblem (30 bucks on ebay) on round disk, passenger side back trim. Body is in great shape, but has a few rust pops on lower rear quarter panel, in front of rear tire and one on lower passenger door. Not rusted through. Evidence of front passenger side fender repair. Orginally all white, lower half was painted by previous owner. Good job on paint, even did the jambs/trunk and interior doors above panels. Engine is original wide block polysphere (semi hemi) 318 V8 2bbl Automatic 3 speed Tourqueflight transmission, shifter on the tree Also has upgraded dual FlowMaster exhaust. Sounds like a big block Turnkey starts, tranny shifts nice and solid all gears good Recent work done on engine in last 60 days: New rebuilt Carter carb with machanical secondaries New rebuilt distributor w/PerTronix Ignitor solid state ingition conversion Installed new motor mounts Installed new HiPo heavy duty double roller timing chain and gears Installed new water pump Installed new heavy duty fan clutch Installed rebuilt starter Installed factory correct new upper and lower radiator hoses All that is left to do is suspention work: Front end rebuild kit ($185 from RockAuto online) Idler arm ($58) Front and rear shocks and some AC work: Heater core leaks, so is currently bypassed. New heater core ($68 from RockAuto) AC condenser return line has small crack. It can be silver brazed by a competent mech (have one to recommend). As you can see from engine pix, all AC components are functional in in place. Just a few more bucks, some time and this car is perfect. This is a Mopar B body, and many parts interchange across a widee range of models and years. Parts are readily available for her. I'm only selling as I found a 1967 Coronet I've been after for ages, and need to sell the Plymouth to get her. Currently registered and operated. Good untill February 2014. Clean and clear California title in hand. Give me a call or text so we can arrange a test drive and a once over. For local Souther California bidders, I live in Vista and work evenings in Carlsbad, so am flexible with location and times. I will assist with any transportation needs, and may deliver within 200 miles for an additional fee. Vehicle is sold with no warranty expressed or implied, in "As Is" condition. James 619 384 0687
