Purchased this vehicle for my wife to drive. It is a Florida car. Put 4 new tires on, replaced all brakes, alternator, battery, new power window drive motors, and front steering components. The car ran great for quite some time, then went into safety mode due to a bad sensor somewhere. I have not been able to locate which sensor or control module has gone bad. The car still runs and drives well, but needs to be shifted manually. The odometer and speedometer are also locked. Now the wife will not drive the car and I need to sell it. Perfect for someone with a knowledge of the e39 series of BMW. Vehicle is sold as is, where is, with no additional warranty.
