Vehicle Detail
1976 Lincoln Mark IV Black Diamond. This is one of 1,587 produced and one of 936 with the black leather and special black patent leather inserts. 46,962 original miles. The car runs and drive great and has the rare, optional power moonroof(317 installed) power mini-vent windows and ultra-rare power lumbar driver's seat. The interior is spectacular and probably the nicest original I have seen in a Black Diamond. The chrome and glass are beautiful, windshield has a crack and needs to be replaced. The paint has a few scratches and minor dings here and there. The A/C activates, but does not get very cold, everything else works. Original dual band white wall spare mounted on forged rim in trunk. You could drive this gem as is with lots of positive comments or have the car re-sprayed and take it to the Concourse. The car comes with Elite Marti report. I can assist with shipping vehicle to WA, OR and CA. Thanks for looking. I purchased this vehicle from a local dealership that got it from what I believe to be an estate sale of the original owner. This car has been inside a garage it's entire life. It has been a local car all this time... no salt on the roads here. There is slight surface rust here and there on the undercarriage, normal for a vehicle this age. The paint is original and there does not appear to be any previous damage to the car. I have yet to see an original Black Diamond car that did not need a respray to be show quality. The car still retains the original spark plug wires and radiator hoses. To view the car in person is reason enough to verify mileage, namely the interior, chrome, engine bay etc. I drove the car today and got many, many looks. I feel this is the best looking of all the Luxury Group cars and when combined with the options, a very hard to find example. A few things I noticed today, clock does not function. The car has had one of the muffler's replaced on the original dual exhaust system. I noticed the driver's side rear resonator has a small leak. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Regards, Rick
