1955 DeSoto Firedome 4-Door sedan. Just a mere 28K original miles. She is a 100% original 3-owner survivor. Never restored or altered in any way. 291 Hemi with an automatic trans with the shifter on the dash. Wide white wall tires, fresh new tune-up, all new brakes with master cylinder being rebuilt, New battery 6-13, and lots of other new stuff. I am third owner and all history is documented and recorded. Sold new in Helena Montana. 100% rust-free. Extremely clean original interior. Outside has some oxidation and fading, but what great patina!! Can get in and drive anywhere and we do. Just a super, nice, clean original survivor that needs nothing. very rare to find a 58 year old car that is all original. some restoration on the drivetrain as needed to maintain the drivability, but all correct parts. car has never been wrecked or altered in any way. everything on the old girl works as it should and it runs and drives perfect. just had her out yesterday for a 300 mile cruise. super original 55 De Soto. lots of NOS parts and extras to go with including a full wire schematic, maintenance manual and even the original owners manual. always garaged and maintained as she should be. yes, its a four door, but what a nice clean dependable driver. trunk is in perfect condition, but full of all the extras. in storage now for winter, but will get a few pics if needed. only selling and downsizing the car collection due to some health issues and the ability to maintain them all any more.
