This is a low milage BMW R 1200C with a very nice Hannigan sidecar mounted on a commercially designed and built subframe. I have owned the bike for about seven years. I bought it with the intention of adding the sidecar which I purchased and put on the bike. Adding the sidecar required a subframe specifically designed for the R 1200C. The subframe alone cost about $900 but it does the job very well. I Have owned several sidecar rigs so I felt comfortable in mounting sidecar myself. I have put over 10000 miles on the rig and it has never given me any trouble. All of the parts I removed for the installation of the Hannigan Sidecar will go with the rig. The sidecar has a power leveler and it is equipped with brakes. I have the brake line but have never installed it. If you wished you could remove the sidecar in about ten minutes. I would think it would take about twenty minutes to reinstall it. The sidecar is spacious. I use it for camping and just hauling groceries. The condition of the bike is what you would expect for the age. Everything is there and works. The chrome is typically, lightly pitted. These bikes all have pitting. Paint is good but the clear coat is showing minor signs of age. The tires are good but since sidecar rigs wear tires more than two wheelers they will probably have to be replaced in 5000 miles. I do have teh factory saddlebags but they are not in the photos. I am not an ironbutt sort of guy but I have put over 500 miles on this bike in one day. It is a great ride. Lots of power and plenty of torque for moving the sidecar. I am offering the bike for sale because I have moved and I find my new city less friendly to motorcycles in terms of road conditions and traffic. My wife and I have purchased smaller and lighter bikes because we do not have highway trips in our future. I will be happy to talk with you about this rig.
