Up for auction we have a 1959 Isetta 300 project/parts car. We purchased this car out of Oregon in 2002 for $6,000 and had it transported to NJ for $900. The car ran and drove when we shipped it in. Then we decided to have a full restoration done in 2007. We dropped it off at a restoration shop in NJ with a $3,000 deposit and everything went South from that point on. With the whole economy crash the body shop went out of business with our little Isetta stuck inside. After 2 years of fighting we finally got it back and haven't touched it since. Now after all the time, money and aggravation it is being sold as is with no reserve to hopefully a better future. The car is 80% complete as far as we can tell. A few things that I noticed that are missing which were on the vehicle when we received it but are now not; seat frame, pedal assembly, gas tank, sun roof track and vin tag. There may be other small misc items missing if you do not see them in the picture please ask and I will check if we have it. Mostly all the parts are in the car. Not pictured but included is all good glass front windshield, rear window and all 4 side sliding glass. The body itself is pretty solid for the most part. It will need a new floor pan or floor section as seen in the picture where the typical rust occurs under the battery compartment. The door is not mounted and the body is unbolted from the frame. There is no title with this Isetta but a clean blank Isetta vin plate is also included. There is probably a thing or two that I missed so please ask all questions prior to bidding. Buyer is responsible for all pickup and transportation of the vehicle. I will help in loading to the best of our ability. The car is being sold as is where is and to the highest bidder with no warranty or guarantees. Please see all pictures for your own description.
