A potential new project! Or a parts goldmine! Up for auction this week is this 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ. It's basically parts or a restoration project at this point. Here is a video of it running. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtDt2u6MG8o&feature=youtu.be The Bad -Needs new tires. -Has a good share of corrosion. -Frame is shot. -Half of dashboard doesn't light up. -Clutch slave cylinder is leaking. -Needs a new clutch. -Body has rust. (There is a lot under the drivers and passengers foot area and there's some on the sides.) -Brake light is on. The brakes lines are gone as well as the brakes themselves. -Door hinges are worn -CD player/radio doesn't work. The Good -It includes booth the hard and soft tops. -New battery and alternator and alternator belt. -Engine runs good. -4 wheel T-case functions. -Shifts smoothly (Not taking in account the clutch) -Rust on the body is not too severe. -Seats are in great shape. The soft top. It is in good overall condition. I bought it new in summer of 2007. I am currently in the process of digging out all of the parts. (I haven't used it in 3 years). However I should be able to find the rest at auction's end. The top itself does not have any rips or tares in it. Some of the metal parts are worn. Last time I used it it all held together. The hard top is on it now. I can do meets. However, I will be busy this week. I am not responsible for getting the Jeep to it's new owner. I would advise the new owner to bring a trailer or a tow truck to haul it away. It is located in Palatine, Illinois. Again. WINNING BIDDER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PICK UP!
