1927 Buick Model 20 A 2 Door 5 Passenger Ford Able 1929 1930 1931 1932 Believed to be 50,000 Miles with a Manuel Transmission Once upon a time....My father in law just finished a 1919 Franklin. He restored it and did a beautiful job with help from a local body shop. Looking for another project, he bought this Buick in May '06. Had it delivered to my house and took it apart. He then loses interest and leaves it in parts in my garage. 2 months pass by and he quits, giving the car to me. I didn't need another project so I made a display car out of it. This could be a Winter restore project for someone with more talent than Me. I used pressure treated wood and rebuilt the roof, which is very strong.. The wood on the upper body is solid and my plan was to put a sheet metal roof on it . Then I took it to a body shop and had it put back together and professionally primed and painted. I had I beams welded on the bottom of the frame so I could pick it up and move it with a fork lift from the front or side of the car with 8 ft forks. Painted pin stripes on it and touched up some minor needed body work . The car looks great from a distance of 10-20 feet. There are still some dents and dings that can be seen from close distance. It came out great & looked fantastic on the 2nd level in the barn. Information: *4 Tires and tubes new in '06 with no use * Wood Wheels solid * Body metal seems solid with little or no rust * Headlight & cowl lights in good condition with no cracks in glass * All windows good condition except crack in windshield * Size of vehicle 14'8" Long x 5'7"Wide x 6'4" Tall * Engine & Transmission unknown, looks original and complete * No Title on car I was planning on using this as "yard art" in the summer and move it inside in the winter, but it came out so nice it went in to the barn on the 2nd level right after restoration. With the 20 year rubber roof and professional paint job the car is water proof and should last a long time outside. This car is all original metal with just the roof wood being replaced. The car rolls and steers well . There is a lot of solid parts on this Buick to help with another restoration or you can restore this one. Shipping is responsibility of buyer.
