MUST SELL!!!!2003 GMC 3500, 4x4 Crew Cab with 8.1L Gas Engine and Allison Auto Transmission, PW, PDL, Pwr Mirrors, Locking Differential, Trailer Tow Package, Brake Control, Traxx Fuel System (aux fuel tank w pump and monitor 88 gallon capacity) I am the third owner, since April of 2012 I have used this truck for towing my big boat to a lake and camping then in June of this year I started using it for work, but it wasn't practical for me to use it daily. I work in maintenance and this truck is waaaaay to big and pricey when it comes to gas. So, I bought me a 4cyl and this truck is just sitting here. I bought a brand new battery last month for it. Truck is very solid and Runs and Drives perfect. Everything works (except stereo). Stereo quit when battery died. I searched the web for a problem and found out that its a common problem on these trucks when the battery dies. This is a very dependable truck. I was a skeptical of the gas engine but the 8.1 in combination with the Allison Transmission is a great combo that pulled way better than expected. If you search around on the web for 8.1 with Allison then you'll find lots of people agreeing that it compares to a Diesel. The tires are 65%. It has slight damage to front valence from crossing a shallow ditch. Also has damage to fender that has been repaired but not painted... The truck is in excellent mechanical condition and would be good to drive anywhere. All maintenance up to date. Oil change is coming up soon.
