This is a recent barn find. It currently does not run and we typically avoid two stroke restorations so we are passing it on to the ebay market. The bike has a clear open title that was last issued in 2001... in the time between now and then somebody seems to have started a cafe project.... they swapped out the handlebars for cafe straight bars. Luckily they didn't chop any original fenders or change out the turn signals, which is nice if you want to keep the bike normal. This bike is currently not running... quite frankly we haven't given any effort to getting it started. The bike comes with one key. Doing some research on this bike I can tell you this much about this bike. This bike was manufactured in 07/1970 and has been titled as a 1970. The bike is the on/off road scrambler version of the T250, sometimes know as the TC and is designated by the high pipes. This bike is completely street legal. The VIN is T250025007, which could mean its the 5007th unit produced or the 7th unit produced. The t250 is the precursor of the GT250 which would make this rare 2 stroke bike even rarer. I think this bike is in good shape for the year and the fact that its a duel sport and most likely had some off road action.... my idea of "good shape for the year" may not be the same as yours so we've included many pictures and here's a detailed description of the bike: -Wheels- rims are in great shape with good chrome rust free... spokes have grease but are also rust free.... tires have good tread, hold air, but have minore sidewall cracks.-front fender has good chrome with two dents-front fork has rust but seals look really good-head lamp bucket looks great-gages are crack free-front and rear turn signals are crack free-handlebars are not original but clean-frame has very surface rust spots that could easily be touched up with paint-exhaust pipes are stamped Suzuki and appear original... painted sections have surface rust that could daily be cleaned up and painted... right chrome tip has scratch but chrome is good on both sides... baffles are in good shape -tank has original paint with dents, scratches, and rust... tank has been treated with tank treatment but I must say it was done exceptionally well (compared to many half ass tank treatments I've seen)... badges are complete with some paint wear.... decals are whole with pealing clear coat... cap looks really good-oil tank has original paint with small scratched and chips.... cap looks good.... oil tank is clean on the inside.... decal looks good with minor missing paint.... - battery is missing and left side cover is missing-seat pan is good.... foam is reusable.... seat cover needs to be replaced-engine was cleaned but not detailed... looks like original Mikuni carbs... no apparent leaks-rear shocks are rusty-rear fender has good chrome... tag bracket has some rust... tail like is complete. This is going to make a really good restoration bike, project bike, or cafe project.... you could use it as a parts bike but I feel that its too complete and clean and it would be a shame to part it out (which is why I haven't).... feel free to ask any question.
