This auction is for two 1962 Ford Thunderbirds. One coupe, one convertible. There are more then enough parts here to restore one of the cars. If you wanted to restore both you would need to find some trim pieces. Both are solid cars from Washington state. Both have titles. I'll describe both cars individually: Coupe: Prior owner said the engine and trans were recently rebuilt. Car is straight, solid, and complete. Has sunroof. The interior is there but dirty and would most likely need new trim. Car is a flat black color but appears to have originally been white. Convertible: Rougher then the coupe but very restorable. Needs new floor pans in the back seat area. Has seats but no engine or trans. Obviously the more valuable car when restored but will take more effort. Either car would make a great candidate for restoration or a custom lead sled. Would take very little effort to turn the coupe into nice mild custom. That was my plan but growing posse of children forces sale. Let me know if you would like pictures of specific items or areas. Inspections are welcome. I reserve the right to end the auction if someone makes me a fair offer. As far as shipping goes I own an enclosed trailer and can deliver one car at a time to you for $1.30/mile in a 600 mile radius from Fort Wayne, IN. I'd be happy to assist your shipper.
