Absolutely stunning piece of American car history. 1986 Pontiac Sunbird convertible - just 55,500 original miles INTERIOR and EXTERIOR are in MINT condition. Underside is as RUST FREE - NO RUST ANYWHERE ON THIS CAR. PAINT IS BRILLIANT Everything works, cruise control, power mirrors, all the interior lights. Air Conditioner / Heater / Power Convertible Top ~ No Issues As does the cruise control and and auto-reverse cassette deck, remote trunk release The cloth top is flawless, and opens and closes with ease. Was driven from Minneapolis to Chicago recently, ran flawlessly; got over 30 MPG. The car was driven in summer months from 1986-89. Then barely driven after that when original owner passed. Oil change receipt from 1989 shows 43,000. This car gets looks . . . you just don't see the GM J2000 as clean as this anymore. And this is the 1.8 motor, super reliable. For total disclosure there is one small issue the Gas Gauge is very slow to respond and not entirely accurate .. diagnosis is sending unit about $100.00 I have original Window Stickers and all original paperwork. Get 30~31 mpg on highway and 26~27 around town. My Mechanic is in love with this car. Blow Ice Cold Air - Everything works Has Tonneau Cover when your out sporting for a day.
