1977 Chevrolet 1/2 Ton SilveradoV8 454 Big Block Very nice almost Rust Free from Oregan. Purchased about two years ago and drove back to Indiana. I have enjoyed driving this truck as both a daily summer driver and to weekend events. Starts every time and runs perfect. The 454 is the higher HP motor that was an option that year. These were the left over 76 vette motors that could not be used in cars because of emissions. This motor is rated 20 hp higher than the standard 454 truck motor. And believe me, it is super fast. I run down the interstate effortlessly at 80 MPH with lots of peddle left. The options sticker is still on the glove box lid and lists all the mechanical options for that year. I do not have a photo of it but will try and add one later. There is a small rust area on the inside corner of the passenger door. (see photo) It is not visible from the outside. I was going to have it repaired but I always keep the truck in my garage so I did not bother. The truck is 36 years old so there is naturally going to be a few nicks in the paint. But I will admit, it looks very nice even standing up close. I have not noticed and dents, even in the tail gate. The truck bed rail that is up against the cab is even very straight and not bent. This almost NEVER seen.All the glass is good and I believe it has no nicks but I will double check. Windows roll up and down fine, both small vent windows are good and open and close nicely. Truck has a CB antenna with the wire in the cab ready for your unit if you so desire. The truck is the trailer special which gives you overload rear springs and the heavier Turbo 400 transmission, trailer brake wiring and trailer hitch. I noticed it also has a wiring harness for a slide in camper. The truck had always had a slide in camper with a floor board. That is why there is not a dent anywhere in the bed. The only thing wrong is paint wear and scratched from the camper. I was going to have a matching color spray in liner put in to cover it all but never got around to it.Factory duel fuel tanks and both work great and the gas gage works correct as it should. I believe both are 17 gallons. I switch back and forth so to not get stale gas. The interior was new OEM carpet and the seat has been re-appolstered. There is one small tiny crack in the dash about an inch long. Radio, A/C, Heat all work good. The cruise control is complete but it does not turn on. I have never checked it out. Sorry but that is the only answer I have on that one. The truck has new tires, battery, brakes, wheel cylinders, alignment and tune up.All I can say is that you will not be disappointed in this truck. You can you to drive daily or take to the local drive in shows.
