This 1967 Cadillac Deville Convertible is a true, original California car. It's in really good shape and very clean for the age. Just about every part on the entire car is original. That should tell you about how it was kept. It was restored about 20 years ago and has been preserved nicely. It was rarely driven at all. 84k original miles. If you've never driven one of these old Cadillacs, they're a dream to drive. They just float down the highway. The midnight blue metallic paint still shines and looks good. The car was painted around 20 years ago. It was covered the whole time and preserved nicely. The body is very straight. It has very, very minimal rust in only a few small areas. One small spot on each fender, and one spot on the trunk lid. They are barely noticeable. The underbody is very clean. Overall, the car is very clean. You can definitely tell that this car came from sunny California. There are some hard water stains on the passenger quarter panel area, due to the car being sprayed by sprinklers when it was stored in a covered carport next to the yard. It was stored there briefly, and for the majority of its life was stored inside a garage. A good buff and polish job should remove the water marks. Other than that, the paint actually looks really good. The trim is all there and in good shape. Nice and straight. The grille is in very good condition. It is a great example of a '67 Deville grille, and definitely one of my favorite parts of the car. The Interior is clean. Again, it was preserved nicely. The seats are very soft, and the dash is in great shape. The car could use a new windshield. It needs a new convertible canvas top. The track system is still there, it just needs the actual top itself. The original 429 V8 starts and runs great. The transmission shifts through all gears as it should. The brakes work fine. The tires work and hold air, but they are old. I would recommend replacing them before doing any serious driving. Overall this is a very clean, very sought-after classic Cadillac. It is ready to be finished up and enjoyed. I've tried to be as honest as I possibly can. Please let me know if you have any questions. It started right up, shifted smoothly into all gears, and ran great. The power steering is very smooth and easy to turn. The brakes work well, although the pedal is a little soft. They probably just need to be bled. This thing is a blast to drive!
