Up for bids is a 1968 Chevelle SS-396, True 138 car. bench seat four speed with 28,500 actual miles as documented on the title. Car has been parked since 1974 when the owner drove it to the location where it was found. Car was put up on blocks off the ground and has not left that location since 1974. shifter and carb are missing off the car. Linkage is still there. Car was originally Ash Gold but owner painted in dark green and painted top white shortly after purchasing it. Fender tag shows ash gold exterior and ash gold bench seat interior. Everything on the car is original except for wheels which I do not have. Engine numbers match VIN as does the transmission number. Floor pans are not in real bad shape, frame is good, Engine will not turn over. Engine block does not appear to be damaged. Owner said when parked it was full of antifreeze. Car is manual steering, front power disc brakes. 12 bolt rear end. All Glass is still in the car. Trunk area is not in real bad shape. This car will require complete restoration.
