When I purchased this vehicle I was told that it is a true ss/rs car, however I never researched it much. I do know for a fact it is a true rs however. This vehicle has had a complete body off restoration. The fit and finish is great, the metal is laser straight, and there are no rust issues. The black paint almost looks wet! It shines very nicely, is super reflective, and has numerous coats of clear. The body has just the right amount of chrome added to make extra appeal. All chrome is new and free of any flaws. There have been less than 1000 miles put on this car since completion! The motor is a 396 bored .060 over. It has 11 1/2 to 1 compression ratio ( YEA PUMP GAS ), .604/.629 lift on the comp cam, weiand x-celerator intake, 750cfm holly 4bbl carb, hooker super comp headers ( ceramic coated), MSD distributer, MSD 6AL ignition with 2 step rev limiter, and car is set up for 125hp shot of NOS. I have only put nitrous to the motor once to see if it worked, other than that I keep an empty tank in the trunk for show. The motor set up how it is makes about 500hp on premium pump gas. There is a 10" coan 3500rpm stall converter and a powerglide transmission. The motor does have roller rockers, and a balanced crank shaft as well as forged pistons. This black beauty has a ford 9" rear end with 4.10 gears and 31x18.5x15 mickey thompsons. The rear suspension is a 4 link ladder bar set up with adjustable coil overs. There is a 12 gal harwood fuel cell with a holley electric fuel pump. Car runs nice and cool thanks to the aluminum radiator and 16" electric fan. Other things to mention are the high volume oil pump, trans cooler, disc brakes up front and drum in the rear, lots of chrome under the hood, 6 point roll cage, 26x7.5x15 mickey thompsons in the front....The interior is VERY VERY clean and comfortable thanks to the adjustable front seats from a late model Camaro, the custom gauge cluster is fully functional and super clean in appearance, jenson cd player nicely mounted in a hand fabricated stainless steel enclosure under the dash. Trunk is just as clean as the rest of the car...carpet looks new, dash has NO cracks, door panels are super clean and defect free...This interior is one of the sleekest, cleanest, stylish set ups on a first gen Camaro...The car runs and drives great, sounds good thanks to true dual exhaust and dynomax mufflers...its a cruise and show ready Camaro that hasn't even been broken in yet.
