This vehicle was purchased by my father who was a Cadillac enthusiast in 2008. Unfortunately my father passed away in 2009 and the car sat in the back yard for 4 years. I decided that I would try to bring the car back to it's former glory a few months ago but it has started to get too expensive for me. The car has a lot of sentimental value but I can't afford it anymore. I've had the car since mid July and it's had 4 brand new tires, an alignment, a new sway bar installed, brake pads, calipers were serviced, serpentine belt, brake system flush, windshield wiper blades, an oil change, intake manifold gasket, fuel pressure regulator, a new starter, and the fuse box was rewired. According to my mechanic, it still needs a catalytic converter, an egr valve gasket, and a tune up. The car wouldn't start last night and the message says service fuel system, I'm assuming its the egr valve gasket so I may go ahead and fix that this week.
