Up for sale is a 2005 Suzuki SV650S. I bought this motorcycle at the beginning of the summer with the intention of using it to get to work on nice days. Unfortunately I need to sell it now. It didn't need anything but a set of tires when I got it but I decided to freshen up everything because I planned on keeping it for a long time So I put about $1,200 into it. I bought it for $3,000 and put about 1,000 miles on it. I recently did an oil and filter change, new iridium spark plugs, Sunstar front and rear sprockets (stock gearing) with a top of the line 525 chain and a BMC racing air filter. I also got a set of Nelson Rigg SPRT 40 saddlebags which are great for medium sized objects and gave me all the storage capacity I needed without being too big and heavy. I put the tires on when I got the bike so they have 1,000 miles on them and are in great condition. Same goes for the brakes which have 75% of their life left. Comes with a Haynes service manual as well. The bike also has a Yoshimura slip on which sounds awesome and gives it that v-twin rumble. It also has aftermarket adjustable brake and clutch levers and heated grips which I will definitely have on my next street bike. There are some cosmetic imperfections which I've photographed, nothing is too bad and it's all fixable if you wanted to. Overall, it is in great running order and is a blast to ride. It's a bike that the experienced rider will be able to tear up the twisties with and yet it's so easy to ride that anyone can just hop on and go.
