Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1954 GMC Rat Rod that gets looks and "thumbs up" wherever it goes. I bought the truck about a year and a half ago and have been making improvements ever since. I drive the truck on the street and it brings a crowd around when I stop anywhere. If you want attention, then this is the truck to have. Both windows roll up and down, but it has no windshield wipers. The truck sits on a 1983 Mazda frame with a Ford 2.3L 4 cylinder engine. It has a rare Offenhauser 4 barrel intake with 2 Super 97's carburetors that I bought new from Speedway. I also installed the MSD ignition, Speedway distributor, fuel filter/ regulator setup. The truck gets its air from an engine driven air compressor and it has a tank mounted under the bed. It has power brakes, disks in the front, drums in the rear. New brakes all around. 5 speed manual transmission with 3.92 gears in the rearend. There are 2 switches for the air bags that controls front and rear height. The truck also has a Painless wiring harness, turn signals, high and low beams. and heater. Train horns are mounted under the bed with a trucker style horn valve mounted inside the roof. Truck runs surprisingly well for a rat rod. All front suspension components have been replaced. Front clip has been shortened to fit on frame. A company called "Village Customs" from the Virginia Beach area originally built the truck. Remember this is a rat rod, not a Cadillac. Its a very cool truck that the winning bidder can still do things to it to make it their own. Feel free to ask any questions. $500 deposit required within 48 hours of auction end. Cash preferred and don't bid if you cannot pay. 2.3L Ford 4cyl.
