What I have here is a 1964 Pontiac Lemans Convertible..... originally it came as a automatic with the 326 engine. The car was built in Fremont California and has lived it's whole life in Southern California. This said, It still sports it's original California black and yellow plates. The engine and automatic trans was removed to make room for a Pontiac 400 cid engine and 4-spd transmission. This car is currently white with black top and interior. Most certainly is a daily driver and can be for many more years. The whole mechanical driveline and suspension has been replaced or modified. Here is the Vitals..... Engine is a Pontiac 400 cid. bored .040" over, 8.5:1 compression ratio forged pistons, Comp cam kit, "Balanced" , heads rebuilt with hardened valve seats, Viton B.o.p. rear main seal, Viton one piece oil pan gasket B.o.p., Melling high volume oil pump, Edelbrock Performer intake, Edelbrock carburetor with electric choke & carb spacer, new alum timing cover with timing chain/gears and harmonic balancer, Hi-torque starter, 105 amp alternator, 2-1/2" dual exhaust with Dynomax mufflers and breathing through Ram Air Exhaust manifold/headers. Cooling System has a 3 row Aluminum radiator, dual 11 inch electric fans, and a FlowKooler water pump. Transmission is a Borg Warner T10 4-speed, new bell housing, new flywheel - pressure plate - clutch & throwout bearing, bell crank & linkage . Differential is a Positraction rear with 3:36 gears , new axles & bearings. Brakes consist of 4 wheel power disc brakes by Cpp complete brake kit. Suspension has a Cpp 2 inch drop spindles, new springs ( front & rear ), all new bushings, ball joints and tie rod ends. Electrical System has been completely rewired. I has a new wire harness with a 21 circuit and 18 fuse count. Wheels are as follows..... 15 inch Boyd Coddington (Sultan's). Front wheels are 15 x 7 with Bfg T/a Radials 225-60R-15. The rears are 15 x 8 with Bfg T/a Radials 255-60R15. As the car as a whole it can be driven anywhere. Would be a Excellent car to be cloned into a GTO, however that was not our intent !!!!
