That's right! NO RESERVE... If you're interested in building a nice hot rod or just a stock muscle car. Here's your chance to buy a 1962 Chevy II "400" convertible project car for a really good price. These Chevy II convertibles were only offered in 1962-63 and then they were discontinued. The original colors for this convertible were Laurel Green Exterior / Black Top / Two Tone bucket seat interior. The bucket seat and rear seat for the interior were already gone when we got the car. Also, what you see in the picture's is what we have avail for the convertible. The engine and trans in the car are originals that were removed from another 62 Chevy II "400" series donor car. The donor car was a very nice daily driver that we purchased from a customer of ours. The six cylinder engine and automatic trans ran great when they were in the other car. ATTN: Although this convertible does have a few rust issues that will need to be repaired. I would'nt consider it a rust bucket like some of the other cars that we've seen listed on ebay. Also, I don't really believe you can find a muscle car out there that hasn't had some kind of rust or body repair issue prior to being restored. ( 1 ) The interior floor pan is the worst area and it will need some patch or repair work done to it. ( 2 ) Another small rusted area is on the lower passenger quarter panel behind the tire. ( 3 ) And the last rusted area is in the trunk just in front of the latch assy on the floor. The rest of the trunk appears to be in very good shape. The convertible top frame assembly is in nice shape, and it does function properly when going up or down. It also locks in place when it is opened. The moldings around the windshield and on the top header assy are in great shape. Also, the hood, radiator support, shock towers, fenders, doors, lower rocker panels, cowl area, firewall, trunk lid, and taillight panel all appear to be in really good condition as well. The door glass, quarter windows, regulators, and mounting hardware for the doors and rear quarters is in the trunk. Also, the drive line, gas tank, radiator, a/m radio, wiper arms, vent assy's, parklamp assy's, and some misc dash items for the interior is included as well.
