At 130,000 miles the engine was removed from the truck, and the resto-mods began (documented below) ENGINE: The original 6.9L IDI engine was removed, disassembled to the block, heads removed, new valves installed and re-assembled with a premium coated copper head gasket set and ARP performance head studs. All of the gaskets, sensors and accessories (minus the AC compressor) were replaced. Before the engine was reinstalled a new 1993 7.3l turbo calibrated injection pump (slightly advanced), new larger “BB” Code injectors, new glow plugs, and Banks' Sidewinder Turbo Kit were installed. All components were painted either International Grey or International Red. Currently the truck is equipped with an adjustable boost regulator, and has enough fuel supply to safely operate at 12psi. TRANSMISSION: The C-6 transmission has been modified with a large capacity B & M aluminum pan as well as a B & M shift kit for manual shifting or standard drive automatic shifting. The neutral safety switch is new as well. BODY: The truck is all original metal and paint with exception to both rear wheel arches, which had stamped metal repair panels welded in and then painted. All the Glass in the truck is original and still has all the original Kansas City Manufacturing Plant Stickers on them in great condition. The bed has been Rhino Lined grey to match and comes with Rhino Shine, the specific cleaner from Rhino to clean their product, in Grey. SUSPENSION: A 4" Rough Country Suspension System was installed. Upon completion of the new suspension installation the truck was professionally aligned, received new ball joints, and universal joints. The alignment specs are perfect and it is comfortable and easy to drive at any speed with no vibrations. The rear driveshaft carrier bearing, and universal joints were replaced at this time along with a new longer front Quigley driveshaft.WHEELS & TIRES: Truck has 35x12.50R18 Toyo Open Country MT's and ProComp Alloy 7023 polished aluminum wheels with simulated beadlock rings painted to match. To achieve proper backspacing 1” billet wheel spacers were bolted on at every corner.ACCESSORIES : The bed is fitted with a Extang Trifecta tonneau cover. KC Fog Lights, and 4” Banks high flow exhaust. Inside an aftermarket CD Player provides the music and Autometer Phantom Gauges monitor EGT and Boost. All other switches gauges and lights are original. Included in the sale of the truck is a Full NOAH Covercraft car cover. AWARDS: This Truck was entered in the Carlisle Truck Nationals for 2012, where there are 2,000 entries of 4x4, Lowered, and original trucks new and old. This truck 3rd place in its division. QUIRKS: Some tolerable quirks that the truck has include the rear fuel tank gauge doesn't read properly. The truck has a small oil leak from the engine oil pan (nickel sized overnight), and there are 2 very small paint blemishes shown in pictures. Passenger window switch works backwards. SUMMARY: All that being said the undercarriage and frame is in great shape and have insignificant or no rust. Overall the truck is in great condition and would make a great classic diesel cruiser. Some tolerable quirks that the truck has include the rear fuel tank gauge doesn't read properly. The truck has a small oil leak from the engine oil pan (nickel sized overnight), and there are 2 very small paint blemishes shown in pictures. Passenger window switch works backwards.

All that being said the undercarriage and frame is in great shape and have insignificant or no rust. Overall the truck is in great condition and would make a great classic diesel cruiser.
