Vehicle Detail

*Lowered Reserve* Low mile, Rust free, Series III Land Rover. The Good: Fairey Overdrive Rocky Mountain Parabolic Springs (much more comfortable ride with increased articulation) Runs and drives great Canvas in excellent condition Aluminum hard top included High strength roll cage installed that fits under both tops Electrical all works (really) 2.6 six cylinder provides smooth power with increased speed and torque Dual fuel system... runs on unleaded gasoline or propane with a flip of a switch Extra transmission and transfer case included in sale (current one is fine, just a spare that came over from Australia with it) Includes a factory Land Rover manual, a couple boxes of spare parts and a spare hood. Includes large tow bar that locks into the front shackle points for easy towing. Right hand drive for that authentic Land Rover experience (you get use to it) Seats and seat belts for nine... take all your friends on safari. Less than 50,000 miles on the truck... no way to verify this, but considering the condition of the body/frame, and how well it runs, I suspect it is accurate. The Bad: The speedometer is in Kilometers, but it keeps your math skills sharp. (or just remember 50 = 30 mph, and 100 = 60 mph) Also, it doesn't have in-dash navigation, blue tooth, or even a radio. No leather on the steering wheel, or on the seats, or on the dash... no floor mats for that matter. No electric windows, or seat adjustment, or locks, or door openers. No cup holders, no vanity mirrors, no steering wheel adjustment (electric or manual). No air conditioning, but it does have dual zone climate control with driver and passenger side cowl vents! But... you probably haven't read this far if you were interested in any of that. This is an honest, capable, off-road machine that you can take on your own Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom Safari. Always a hit on the trail or at a car show. There are lots of rusty ones out there, but very few clean originals to be found. Will ship internationally, but the buyer is responsible for transport arrangements. I've found California Shipping in Stanton, CA to be a good resource: http://www.calship.com We have had it for several years and really enjoyed it on trails here in Utah, but kids are starting college and it's time for it to go to a new home. Most of our adventures have been during the warmer months, but here's a YouTube clip from last winter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2gy65q_ZOs Please feel free eBay msg or email me with any questions.
