GL650cc Silverwing Interstate, in excellent condition, garage kept, 17,579 original miles, and currently riding it. I believe I am the third owner, and have owned it for 2 years. This is a Silverwing V-Twin , shaft drive with liquid cooling. I currently ride the bike back ad forth from my golf course and for pleasure riding in my area. This bike, from my close examination, has never been dropped or been in an accident. From the individual I purchased the bike from I am led to understand that both previous owners were older chaps like myself (60+) or at least they owned the bike into their 60's. The bike never came with a radio. The plastic insert is there and can be removed and perhaps a radio added if you would like. I use it for extra storage. I have one paint chip on the tank but other than that the bike is in great condition. I recently purchased a used Markland trunk extender for the bike so I could carry a passenger and the rear luggage rack. I still have the rear seat portion and luggage rack available if someone wants to convert to a single seater. The bike gets lots of looks and appreciative comments wherever I ride. People cannot believe it is an '83. This year, I put on two new Dunlop Elite tires on the bike. They have less than 500 miles on them. I had the bike serviced at the start of this riding season. Bike was checked by mechanic and a new battery, air filter, spark plugs and oil, were changed. No leaks anywhere. This bike would make a great daily commuter (excellent gas mileage), driving around town or just a pleasure cruiser. When first sold, the bike was referred to as a baby Goldwing. It is quick and responsive on a ride and I've had no problems with the bike. I have a clear title in my name, the original tool kit & tire pressure gauge, owners manual & two sets of keys. I have the service manual printed off for the new owner. Successful buyer will arrange their own shipping or local pickup.
