It still has the original rims, hubcaps, and jack. The car runs great. The body is in nice condition for a project and has very little rust. Here are all the details. MORE PICTURES IN THE PHOTOBUCKET LINK: http://s942.photobucket.com/user/tutheck5/library/1964%20belair%20wagon?sort=3&page=1 DRIVETRAIN This is an original V8 car. I believe the original motor is the original. It looks as original as you'll find and is period correct. Air clean, exhaust manifolds, carb, intake, etc. etc. all looks to be correct for this car. I'm sure the engine is the original 283. Casting code on back of block was correct for '64 belair. The car has the three speed manual on the tree. Motor runs great and doesn't smoke. Always starts. Fuel tank I believe is fine, but the rubber hose connecting the metal fuel line to the fuel tank, leaks. A new hose should fix it. Currently running on a temporary tank just for moving around and loading it. Transmission and clutch work fine. No slippage or anything. Brakes work when pumped. I should get the brakes bled before the auction is over. I'm sure the car should have plugs, wires, fluids, and the usual stuff like that but will need no major mechanical work. Exhaust will need replaced. Tires are studded and actually nice with lots of tread left. Wheels are original. Spare and original jack are included. ONLY TWO HUBCAPS are included. It only came with two. The engine doesn't overheat, tick, or knock. Has no oil in the water or water in the oil. Oil light comes on for a few seconds when cold and then goes off and stays off. Gauge or sending unit is probably faulty or the filter just hasn't been changed in awhile. VIDEO OF IT RUNNING http://s942.photobucket.com/user/tutheck5/media/1964%20belair%20wagon/VID_20130629_154343_565_zpsd28057a4.mp4.html BODY The body is in nice shape for a project and has very little rust. The Floorpans are nearly rust free. The drivers front has two very small spots. the rest of the floors are nice and have no rust-through. This includes the cargo area and tub. This could have been a three seat car, or it could be converted into one. The spare is on the one side and fuel tank on the other side so the tub underneath is empty. This was the usual setup on a three-seat car, I'm just not sure on this one. You'd have to find a seat though. The roof, frame, hood, doorjams, pillars, firewall, etc. etc. are in nice shape. Tailgate will not open but the gate and the jam looks rust free and I took a flashlight and looked at it as well as I could without getting it open. Both front fenders have minor rust in the rear corners. Both passenger side doors have minor rust in rear low corner of the skin. Drivers front door is fine, rear has the same skin rust as the passenger doors. This is easy rust to fix. Quarters are near perfect but passener has very minor rust down low in front of the rear bumper. This is small and probably not visible in the pics. The rust on this car is minor by any bodymans standard. The car has been painted and was originally 905 code meadow green metallic. No bondo anywhere. Windshield is cracked pretty good. Other windows are usable but have the usual wear. Rear window does roll down but you have to hold the handle in while rolling. No big dents and no sign of any collision damage or any panels being changed ever. INTERIOR It needs completetly re-done but could be used with seat covers and a carpet. Dash is ok but has cracks. Someone has taken the dash out at some point and got the dummy gauges back in upside down. I have not tried any of the electrical things or lights but I know the horn works. Headliner has tears for usable for a low budget ride. Interior is originally the same color as the body (green) but has had covers put on seats at some point. Original upholstery is under it. THIS CAR IS USED, OLD, UN-RESTORED, AND SOLD AS-IS. Powered by eBay Turbo Lister The free listing tool. List your items fast and easy and manage your active items.
