I purchased the vehicle from the first owners in Costa Mesa California. The Barber family purchased this original Brown 240z on 3/1/1973 from Garden Grove Datsun, address 13861 Harbor Blvd, Garden Grove, CA 92640. It comes with the original purchase agreement, Promissory Note, some maintenance records, original owners manual, picture brochure and some old registration cards from mid 70’s. The 240z sat in the garage for well over 15 years with the occasional usage and maintenance to prevent seizing. The engine was swapped to an L28 w/ 5 speed tranny for whatever reason. The interior is very nice only molested to repaint inside the door jams and hatch area. The exterior is awesome it received all new OEM emblems from Nissan and a 2 stage paint job. The underside is also in great shape. I see no rust. Engine was inspected by a Datsun mechanic and gave it a thumbs up!!! Send your inspector to check out the car. Read full description first. Start up and driving feeling: Runs very strong and shifts nicely. It idles great. Little rough on cold start. People compliment how good the 240z sounds and looks. Gas mileage is good. Vehicle is fully tuned with fresh oil, oil filter, spark plugs, spark plugs wires and very tiddy engine bay. Doesn’t burn oil. Engine was torn down for inspection. Engine is a crated rebuilt engine from Bonded Motors, Los Angeles which is no longer in business. Engine does not smoke, does not burn oil, all spark plugs are oil free and engine bay refreshed. Engine has very low mileage and will last you a very long time is maintained correctly. Vehicle is fully tuned with fresh oil, filters, NGK spark plugs, bosch wires and cleaned engine bay. Never over heats, while idling or driving. AC interior control unit all complete inside all you will need compressor and condenser. I will include the compressor upon request. -Heat works Sound System: -Audiovox stereo period correct (manual included). -Decent sound nothing amazing. Tires & Wheels: - Polished Slotted Mags Wheels 14x7 all around directly bought from Nissan see purchase order. - LIKE NEW Remington Tires 185/75/14(tires still have little tiny plastic hairs on the side) Spare Tire and Tools: -Spare tire -Original jack, wheel chucks and tools.
