1998 Ford Taurus SE. Original owner, purchased another Taurus over a year ago so parting with this one. Checked out current conditions, passenger side window does not roll down, however can hear switch activated for power windows. Speedometer would drop out when defrost warm was run not coming on now. Pretty sure throttle position sensor not operating correctly. Car will drive in Drive however when you come to a complete stop car will act as if in Neutral will have to switch gears to Park then back to Drive to resume driving. If you drive with Overdrive off car starts from stop fine just have to remember to shift to drive when at higher speed. Car battery has dead cell, jumps quickly though. Does have a slight oil leak, loses about 1/2 a quart every 3,000 miles. I was very diligent about changing oil about every 3,000 miles especially after it broke 100,000 miles. 4 newer Michelin X Radial P205/65 R15 tires have about 3,000 miles on them. Had transmission rebuilt at about 230,000 miles. Small dings from other car doors, hood slightly skewed and paint removed also housing above radiator cracked from accident back in 2003. I owned car outright then and chose not to repair small damage which is only cosmetic.
