I Bought this car in 2009 and was told it was a 1972 Gran Tarino Sport. I Bought it to restore and 4 years later it's still sitting and even though I keep it covered the weather is getting the best of it.The car has rust all along the trunk lid bottom (check pictures), the trunk itself looks pretty good,and on both sides of the front roof. The Engine looks to be all there the intake and carb are in the trunk.The Transmission is still connected to the engine and holds in park,the breaks work.The inside is pretty complete it's missing the radio ignition switch everything is there but not in great shape.It has all the glass except drivers side rear window. I pulled the carpet back in a few sections the floor pans look good.Looks like most of the trim and badges are there.This would need a complete ground up rebuild or be a good parts car. When I bought the car the guy I bought it from gave me a bill of sale and was suppose to send me the paper work when he found it, he never did.I tried to contact him a few times with no response. I have run the vin and it dose not seem to be in the system anymore,I'm not sure when the last time this car was registered. So Keep in mind that I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE for this car, from what I've read it can be a real pain to re register some of this older cars.This is for local pickup only Buyer would need to set up all shipping.
