I bought this little zippy Metro for my stint in Vermont. This car ran like a champ through a nasty winter and steep hills with no problem. Low-end torque and mid-thirties miles-per-gallon. There are plenty of problems, and the car is certainly driveable but the wheel-bearing will need fixed quickly. With the frame-rust and gas-leak it won't pass inspection in Vermont, and this vehicle would suit someone looking for a low-mileage engine and assorted other parts, or someone who can fix the wheel-bearing and brakes and keep it on the road for another year or so. Also a great idea for destruction derbies! He starts up instantly even in -20F, has a new battery, and shifts smoothly.
