Thanks1969 Pontiac Firebird Up for sale is my very unique ans extremely fast 69’ Firebird. Great example of a rust-free first generation factory V8 4-speed Firebird. This car has been in fair weather its entire life and still has all original sheet metal. It was built as a street/strip hotrod in 2010 with the addition of a new Dart 427 small block Chevy (custom built by Luna Performance in El Paso, TX) Aluminum AFR heads, Quick Fuel 750 race carb, Edelbrock intake, Hooker headers, Milodon oil pan, custom exhaust, MSD ignition, billet pulleys, Griffin aluminum radiator with twin electric fans, race fuel cell, too much to list on engine alone.. This 500+ horsepower beast is backed up by a built Turbo 400 trans with a 3000 stall converter, 12 bolt GM rear end with Auburn posi 3.08 gears built by Tom’s Axels. Over $16k invested into the drivetrain alone with all invoices to show it. Car has seen maybe 3k miles since the new drivetrain was installed. Runs like a beast and sounds amazing! Only been taken to the track a couple times and it ran mid 11’s with street tires. Could be used as a daily driver if you don’t mind setting off car alarms and paying for premium fuel all the time. I’ve decided to build a Cobra kit car so the Firebird is up for sale now to free up some money towards my new toy. That is the only car I will consider a trade for so if you have a Cobra replica you’d like to trade let me know. The firebird was painted black a couple years ago and everything lines up nice and straight. Doors open & close well and there’s ¼” seams between fenders, doors, hood, and trunk. The paint has a few tiny imperfections from average use but nothing major and as you can see in the pics it still shines very nicely. A custom cowl induction scoop was molded to the original hood, front and rear spoilers added, blacked out front bumper and grill inserts give the car a very unique front end. Windows roll up and down fine and all electrical works great. Interior is somewhat race inspired with Aluminum dash & door panels, Pro-Comp race gauges, B&M quicksilver shifter, newly reupholstered 70’s firebird seats with suede inserts, nice headliner, and brand new carpet. The car is sitting on 15” Centerline wheels with tires about 80% tread left (295’s rear & 165’s front). Suspension and steering are great and this beast handles well at all speeds. Brakes were just serviced and it stops good as well. I have a clean title in hand and it’s ready to be transferred to new owner.
