I have a 1989 VW Cabriolet for sale. It is rust free and has over $4500.00 in receipts. runs and drives great. The cabriolet is a 5 speed , has cruise control and works great, A/C compressor is there but doesnt work needs recharge. Cabby has around 136,000 miles Cabriolet is white with new black canvas top, with white interior-no tears, has wear but useable. All new over last 6 months: new black canvas top - 1400 installed new injectors new intake and inline fuel pumps (Bosch) new cv axle new struts and mounts new water pump new timing belt new exhaust new thermostat new plugs, cap, rotor timing was set set new battery Brand new cd, dvd player with 4:3 viewable screen takes usb- or cd and dvd's new infinity speakers To finish and make it look great it needs a respray or new paint and has a small ding by drivers headlight but not noticeable. I drive the car to work when ever its nice out and runs and drives great. Movig so have to sell my toys, my loss your gain. On Jul-19-13 at 18:39:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Had a lot of messages so hope this helps. Flaws: My Cabriolet isn't perfect does have some flaws being 24 years old. 1. The front brake pads are thin. 2. It starts a little hard in the morning but once the engine pressurizes it runs fine. I was told its a loose vacuum line. 3. The drivers window doesn't go all the way up about an 1/8th of an inch 4. The vents don't blow cold so I have them shut off and drive with top down so don't notice it. This is a great summer daily driver that needs a little work to be great. Any other questions just message me
