1957 GMC Pickup Truck Restoration Project Up for your consideration is a 1957 GMC pickup truck restoration project. I was told by the gentlemen I purchased this from that another person had started this project but traded it to him for another truck. What I can tell you about the truck for sure is what I see so here it goes. The body work and paint has been started and I would say in the 80 to 90% percent done. The motor a 6 cylinder I was told was rebuilt but the cam and lifters are not there. There are many extra parts for the motor such as starters, generators, intake, carbs etc. The front and rear glass is not present but door glass is and one is broke. Front seat and door panels have been reupholstered. It appears that all the body parts are there but since I’am the 3rd owner I can’t be sure. I feel that this would be a sweet restoration project for someone as must of the dirty work has been done. It would just need someone loving care to reassemble. Please look at pictures and ask questions prior to auctions end and bid accordingly .
