1990 Jaguar XJ12 Vanden Plas Bought originally a year ago to be used as a daily driver. Ended up realizing it would need more love and attention than I could give it. Love the car but it has to go since I am moving and don't have guaranteed parking. It has 4 + 1 S class tires, I can give you exact make if asked. The previous owner put them on the summer he put it in storage. Original owners manual with Jaguar club booklet. Shop manual provided on CD.all 12 plugs have been professionally replaced with top end NGK Iridium spark plugs at over $20 a piece.The plug lines have been replaced with original Jaguar ones.Air filters are brand new.Windshield wipers have been replaced.Included cloth car cover.Safetied in Ontario less than a year ago.Belts all checked and tightened at shop.Car fax report for all previous owners up till me. Something I would like to make clear about this vehicle and it's something that any xj owner will tell you to look out for is the ignition system. Even though this is a 1990 vehicle it was manufactured in 1989 and has the original Lucas ignition not the Marelli one. The difference is that the Distributor caps are no longer made for the Marelli ignitions and the third party ones don't last very long and are prone to causing engine fires. The engine runs and it drives great. All the breaks are good as well as the shocks, this is the best driving car I have ever owned. The only issue that needs to be dealt with is the emissions test, we believe there is a misfire caused by a corroded rotor or worn distributor but just haven't taken the time to replace them. I have a lot of love for this car and I really hate to sell it but I unfortunately have to. I'd really like to see it go to a good home. Please, if you have any questions feel free to ask.
