1956FORD THUNDERBIRD PEACOCK BLUE AUTOMATIC CONVERTIBLE Bought by the original owners son-in-law in 1963 and disassembled for a full restoration. Sat untouched in a barn in Maine until 2000 when it was purchased by the current owners dad. Back on the road in 2003 and driven to shows/etc until 2010 when he became ill and later passed away. THIS IS A NUMBER MATCHING CAR It has Power Steering and Brakes It has the Performance and Safty Package factory options It does not have A/C ITEMS REPLACED OR RESTORED:EVERYTHING In addition to the restoration some updates were done to increase the drive-ability including: front disc brakes electric fuel pump dual bowl master cylinder modern radio (have orig T&C) Only known issue is that the clock is not working however it's ground wire is disconnected and that may be the only problem. DRIVEN ABOUT 1000 MILES SINCE COMPLETION.RUNS/DRIVES SUPER It does have a few paint dings and a tear in one door panel (see picture) however the overall condition is very, very nice.
