1989 Jaguar XJS Convertible - 28,160 Actual Miles! Description (Please use your browser's inner scroll bar to scroll through almost 100 photos below!) 1989 Jaguar XJS Convertible - 5.3 liter - V12 SOHC White with blue top and blue interior. 28,160 actual miles. I bought this car in the Spring of 2012 to replace a car I was going to sell, I ended up keeping that car, now this one is for sale. Clean Carfax vehicle history report, I am the third owner of the car, first two owners were in California. See the Carfax and you can follow the ownership and mileage trail to see that these are actual miles. No accidents, mostly original paint, not perfect but very nice. The front seats are in decent condition, the welt cord on the drivers seat is exposed however the rest of the seat is ok. They are a little dry as the car has been in California most of its life. The carpet throughout is in excellent condition, there have been protective mats over the actual carpet since the car was new, I removed them for these photos. I had a new top installed this spring, it looks great, well fitted, glass back window as the original. Last year it got a new battery, tune up and brake overhaul. The car runs and drives great with good brakes, everything works except the A/C, it may need a new compressor. The car starts easily, runs cool without overheating, the transmission shifts great. The top boot cover is included as are the tools and books. I didn't snap the top boot down all the way around for the photos, it is in excellent shape, it comes with it's black case in the trunk. There are less than 29,000 miles on this beauty as verified by the Carfax. The car is not rusty, being a California car all of its life until I got it last year.
