I shot this video, which I feel is more descriptive than anything I could type. http://youtu.be/0JwNo-69vCE See 14 minute YouTube video. Chassis is very solid. Engine runs, needs battery. No brakes. 4 speed trans has synchro issues, but does operate to move/load, etc. sheet metal is rusty, but salvageable. Car hauler is extremely stout. Wiring of lights, wench, and auxiliary systems is a mess. No wipers. Passenger side glass is cracked.I bought this truck intending a restoration, but never touched it. Drove it home, parked it, and there it has sat for several years. The motor runs surprisingly well. The trans is just about shot I think. The rear is single speed, I think. The brakes worked well when I brought it home, but when I pulled it out to shoot the video, the pedal went to the floor.The wench has been covered at all times and worked before I bought it. I didn't test it when I shot the vid.Truck is at my house in Pennsylvania, but I live in Connecticut now. I hope someone wants to save this beast rather than see it go to the scrap yard. I felt it had potential. Dear estewart66, Hi - shame you never got around to restoring the beast - it does have a lot of potential! I'd like to add a few things that hopefully will make the beast worth more - feel free to add this to the listing! New clutch pad and throw-out bearing Tranny was inspected and fluid replaced - don't know what the issue could be but the gears were fine Brakes inside drum had been totally rebuilt - probably a master cylinder (which I think I still have a spare that I forgot to give you) or brake line issue Winch was used like 6 times - wiring is a bit messy, I just twist tied it up but you could make it as nice as you like. I never re-did the wiring because I was planning to rehab the frame + body. The engine is a 351 windor. The interior gas tank was removed and treated, but the pickup tube is bad (should've said yes when they asked if I wanted a new one put it) New weather stripping on doors, heater core, and new front tires I think. As I think of it from a buyers perspective, I would think that might make pickup much easier. As I said in the ad, I live in CT now, and that would be the first weekend that I can make it back.
